While we were away, the clocks did not stop, and time did not come to a standstill. The hustle and bustle of life went on as usual, as if it did not matter what is happening in one’s own life. And yet we all grew a few weeks older, perhaps three weeks older from the last time we read from this blog. It is all a pleasure when we have or think we have something important to communicate and have the time and space to do so. Yet it is not what or how we communicate that is most important, it is the intent and what we hope to achieve that come first. For example, when I started blogging thirteen years ago, and in my websites earlier, the message was that this is done to inform all of what God is speaking to our world today, in the End-time Move of God. That message has not changed.
But imagine that you have been away–out of sight and out of view as it may seem, not for three weeks, not for four weeks, but for twenty-five years. Would anything have happened in your life in twenty-five years that you would like to share? Most likely yes!
Time Is the Difference
Time is the difference between the middle-aged woman and the two happy friends, and indeed in each of their life stories. But time is an asset granted by God for the fulfillment of human desires on earth which themselves must fulfill God’s purposes. So if anyone is thinking that time is just there waiting for when we are ready to do something , anything, or just to fulfill an ambition, then think of The Rich Young Ruler, Matthew 19:16-22, Mark 10:17-22, and The Parable of the Rich Fool, Luke 12:16-21. Life is fleeting and no one and nothing has been able to guarantee it, except the Creator.
So while we were all away, we should have learned a little more, matured a little more, and gained a little more wisdom. And since wisdom is not always tied to age, it doesn’t matter what set us apart in the first place. Whether we were away and apart from each other and from one another by physical separation, by mental calculation, or from an emotional place, it matters now where and how we stand. You may even have been away to enjoy a well-deserved holiday, or sequestered for a reason. It matters now what we have to share, the wisdom we now bring to the table–wisdom to build.
